ABOUT US

NPA Coatings Inc. (NPAC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nippon Paint (USA) Inc. (NPU). The Company was originally founded in 1990 as Seibert Powder Coatings on the premise of being a quality low cost provider of coatings with superior service to general industrial and automotive markets.

In the early 1990’s Seibert expanded its commitment to the coatings industry through an investment by Nippon Paint, one of the world’s largest coatings and chemical companies, forming NPAC. This strategic alliance provided the addition of product lines such as automotive liquid coatings, surface treatment chemicals and electrocoat. In 1996, NPU acquired the remaining stock of NPAC and began to manufacture and sell liquid coatings to various automotive manufacturers.

In 2013, the Powder Coatings division was sold to Protech Powder Coatings which enabled NPAC to focus on its’ automotive customers. NPAC is committed to utilizing and developing new technologies to become the leader in quality and performance in the automotive coatings field.
